Thank you for considering becoming a part of the Missions’ team here at New Found Life Bible Camp. Each volunteer must complete “In Safe Hands” and a police check before being accepted. Applications are available under “Application Procedure”.
Summer Missionaries
Leaders in Training (LIT’s)
Young people between the ages of 13 – 15, training to become team leaders in our summer Day Camps.
Team Leaders
Young people ages 16 and up, in leadership at our summer Day Camps.. They are chosen for their relationship with Jesus Christ and their love for children.
Senior Team Leaders
University age and older, serving at Teen Camp. They are chosen for their Christian testimony and love for youth.
1. If you are at least 13 years of age, you can begin the online “summer missionary” application. You will be asked to provide three references. You should speak to these individuals prior to beginning the process so you can include their email address in the application. One Hope Canada asks that one of these references come from your pastor or youth pastor. Family members are not accepted as references.
2. All applicants ages 18 and over, if approved, must provide a current police background check, and those age 25 and over must also provide a vulnerable sector check, as per One Hope Canada's In Safe Hands policy. Once accepted, you will be provided with online training in our child protection policy, "In Safe hands."
3. Summer missionaries age 16 and up are eligible to apply for the Summer Missionary Assistance Program (SMAP) through which they can raise personal support (financial and prayer partners) for their summer ministry. If interested, this application must be completed no later than June 1 to allow time for communicating with potential supporters. Click here for the SMAP application form.
4. Prior to acceptance as a summer missionary, all applicants must sign One Hope Canada's Statement of Affirmation to be considered for a summer missionary position. Please see documents below.
